Meet Your Instructor
After more than 15 years of caring for women through pregnancy, labor, and birth, I grew tired of seeing so many women arrive feeling fearful, overwhelmed, and misinformed. Too often, they had been relying on social media, conflicting advice, or information that didn't prepare them for what labor was actually like.
What finally inspired me to create this class were my own patients. After delivering their babies, many told me, "I wish I had learned this before labor," and encouraged me to teach other families the way I teach my patients every day. This class is the result of those conversations. It's a new offering created to give you the honest, evidence based education I wish every expecting family received before birth.
What Sets Us Apart
Most childbirth classes teach birth from the outside looking in. We teach it from the bedside. Our classes are led by a practicing hospital-based Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who attends births and cares for women every day. You'll learn not only how birth works, but what actually happens in the labor room, how to navigate your options, and how to make informed decisions with confidence.
